Traditionally Thai food is to be shared and At Roi Thai provides the perfect venue for sharing whether it be for a business lunch, romantic dinner or a celebration with family and friends. At Roi Thai is formerly Al-Oi thai restaurant that uses only the best produce. We aim to serve the best Thai food to Cessnock locals as well as any one visiting Cessnock and Hunter Valley areas.

  • I am here from Los Angeles, CA where we have excellent Thai restaurants and I was in the mood for some tonight. We are staying in Cessnock and this one came up on my search but despite the lunatic rant of a review posted by Liz L, we decided to give it a try and my dinner was delicious!!! Perfectly prepared, the Seafood Salad is so fresh and served slightly warmed, it was wonderful!! I have to recommend this friendly clean spot, where the local police eat, always a good sign! Two thumbs up!!!

  • Great authentic Thai food that’s very flavorful. We were at the Hunter region for 3 days 2 nights and came here for both nights. Tried their chicken with satay sauce and it’s really yummy. Their pineapple fried rice and green curry chicken are great too!

  • Food was awesome.. Didn't expect it to be this good TBH... We had some calamari for starters.. Cooked precisely.. Some Hokien noodles and a Cashew chilli paste stir fry with rice for mains.. Both yummieeee.. And ended it with a fried ice cream... Happy customers we are.. 😀👌
